How Marattech collects, uses and protects your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
When you register for a promotion, we collect:
- Your full name and email address.
- Your WhatsApp mobile number, used to verify your identity via OTP and deliver your coupon.
- Records of coupons issued and redeemed under your mobile number.
- Your consent choices (Terms & Conditions acceptance and WhatsApp marketing opt-in), together with the date/time and IP address at which consent was given, kept as evidence that consent was obtained.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To verify your registration via one-time password (OTP).
- To issue, track and validate your coupon/voucher.
- To provide customer service relating to a promotion or voucher.
- To send you promotional WhatsApp messages — only if you have separately opted in, and only until you withdraw that consent.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive claims.
3. Who We Share It With
Your WhatsApp number and message content are shared with our WhatsApp messaging service provider solely to deliver your OTP, coupon and related notifications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain your registration, coupon and consent records for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes above, resolve disputes over a voucher, and meet our legal/accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
5. Your Rights
- You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you.
- You may withdraw your WhatsApp marketing consent at any time — this does not affect coupons already issued to you.
- You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations.
